Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ JACK WAGON Official Website) YMidwest touring/recording artist OUTTALNE, officially changes artist name. The artist first launched into the music industry with the debut release "We Got You Covered..." which garnered the group the hit single "
Chainsaw" that was immediately pushed into rotations across the national airwaves. The video for the single was picked up by VH1, and FUSE TV.
The group felt it was a necessary step that has given them a refocused outlook that was slowly grinding away through the rigorous touring and recording schedules during the past six years. Meet the driving forces behind JACK WAGON. Lightning Strikes, Drums-Percussion / Vocals, Action Jackson, Bass / Vocals, and Chris Dunnermann, Guitar / Vocals. When asked about the change founding member Lightning explained,
"We have finished off our current recording contract with our previous label, and during the previous years we had to replace our original guitarist due to the inability to adhere to our touring, and recording schedules. Chris was the only logical choice for the group. As he filled in on guitar duties during live performances that the original guitarist just couldn't fulfill. Plus we felt it was only right to welcome the new line-up with a fresh name."
The group is currently working on re-releasing the debut disc under the new name. With all the tracks being remastered, and introducing updated tracking for guitars. During the studio time the group will be touring throughout the Midwest reconnecting with the fanbase that helped launch them into the music industry. The group is already being courted by Interscope Records to join their artist roster.
JACK WAGON Drummer-Percussionist, Lightning celebrated the change by securing an artist endorsement from C&C Custom Drums, which he has been using on tour during the past few years. When asked what he thought about the drum equipment he stated " C&C Custom Drums are hands down the finest musical instrument I have performed on since I first started performing professionally. I am looking forward to adding some fresh drum tracks on the debut release for JACK WAGON using my C&C kit."
The group is also planning on reworking the single "Chainsaw" video to coincide with the release. This will most likely be recorded when the group starts up the 2011 touring schedule during April.
