Warren Haynes Celebrates 'Man In Motion' Release With Beacon Theatre Bash 5/12
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Like Muddy Waters, Bessie Smith and The Kinks before her, the live stage is where "roots music star in the making" (Washington Post) Eilen Jewell's captivating songs truly come to life. Though the heart and soul of the music rests with the Boston-based Jewell, her breathtaking three-piece band provides the tenacious backbone that propels numbers like the seductive "Bang Bang Bang" and hard-charging "Queen of the Minor Key." Both songs appear on Jewell's upcoming album, 'Queen of the Minor Key,' out June 28 on Signature Sounds Recordings

Watch a stunning live performance of "Bang Bang Bang" here: https://youtu.be/eBni41NEVaQ

Jewell's band - Jason Beek (drums, harmony vocals), Jerry Miller (electric, acoustic and steel guitars) and Johnny Scascia (upright bass) - transforms her "knack for capturing life's less rosy elements" (No Depression) into a set of full-fledged showstoppers, with a seamless musical connection developed after playing 150-plus shows a year for the last five years. With a self-professed love for travel and "always being in motion in some way," Jewell and her band will take their raucous live show on the road throughout the rest of 2011, with dates already scheduled well into 2012.
