Nashville, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Aristo Media) Country artist Lane Brody is splitting her time these days between two of the Grammy-nominated singer's biggest passions: creating meaningful music and rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned wildlife.
The chart-topping vocalist is currently staying busy writing and recording her next album, but also dedicates a substantial amount of time to her position as chairman of the board at Middle Tennessee wildlife rehabilitation center, Walden's Puddle.
"The time I spend between my recording career and Walden's Puddle is pretty evenly split, though I don't really consider either one a 'career' in a conventional sense," says Brody. "My music and my love for all of God's creatures are a large component of who I am."
"Flame's Turned Blue" is the most recent single from Brody's 2010 release, On the Wings of Songs, available at www.GMVNashville.com. Written and produced by Lane, the song effectively combines her musical talents with her environmentalist sensibilities. The video was shot in Australia and serves as a wake-up call to mankind about the troubling issues plaguing our planet.
