May 7th Official Movement Festival Pre-party W/ Alexi Delano, Federico Molinari, Shaun Reeves & More
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blkmarket Membership) On Saturday 7th May, Blkmarket Membership bring you an Official Detroit Movement Festival Pre-party in New York. Detroit's Electronic Movement Festival is hands down the best festival in the U.S for us. Blkmarket Membership teams up once again to bring you the 2011 edition of this event! Remember last year's one we did right before heading to Detroit? Was definetly one for the books. This year we are doing it a few weeks prior, but none the less, another line up that does justice.

Alexi Delano has been a long time friend of ours and with his heavy touring schedule, we are very happy to have him back again for Blkmarket Membership. Oslo label boss Federico Molinari also joins the line up. Christian Burkhardt, his label mate quoted, "You will never know what Federico will play when he DJs. He has got tracks that no one has and thats what makes him stand out." Making his Blkmarket debut is Chuck Flask. One of the brains behind Paxahau and the Detroit Movement Festival, Chuck Flask has played alongside some of the biggest names all of which he curates. We are very excited to have him play for us. Shaun Reeves, 1/4 member of Visionquest, is the latest addition to the lineup. He is one of our favorite afterhours DJ's and can go on for days if need be! Residents Taimur & Fahad round off the lineup and will be closing out the night with a back 2 back set.

Blkmarket Membership presents 5 Year Anniversary with Sven Vath
30 Years Dejay Celebration / World Tour 2011 Part One

Save the date friends, as on Friday 27th May as Blkmarket Membership celebrates its 5 year Anniversary in New York City. Residents DJ's Taimur and Fahad's idea and vision back in 2006 has made their night into probably one of the world's best DJ residencies for them. Their goal from the beginning had been set 'to bring in talent which inspires us as DJ's in the music we play.' Fast forward 5 years later and these two have played alongside with a lot of the best in the world at their nights, which they curate musically as well from start to finish. In celebration of their 5th Birthday, they have invited Sven Vath to share the decks with them. Sven Vath is a legend to say the least. Today, he runs one of the biggest labels in techno, Cocoon Records. He is also the owner of the state-of-the-art Cocoon club in Frankfurt and hosts the Cocoon Events at Amnesia in Ibiza every summer for many years. Many call him Pappa Sven. A career that started in 1982 and is still going strong! It is a very rare treat these days to catch him in this city as last time he played here was in 2007. We highly recommend to make sure you secure you spot for what is looking to be like the party of the year at Highline Ballroom. Blkmarket Membership will be providing special production led by Mehmet Erkaya! Lighting will be provided by Oxygen Lightworks and we will add additional sound for this event. We would like to thank all friends, family and to everyone who has been part of the Blkmarket Membership experience. You know who you are and we look forward to seeing you on this date!
