Portland, OR (Top40 Charts/ Orange Blues Club) The Black Stump Blues Festival is poised to go ahead after meetings with the Orange Blues Club and Orange City Council resulting in a mutual unerstanding of the blues genre versus the city of Orange. The council has given the Orange Blues Club's president Ray Vanderby the nod regarding the concept. Next step is to secure the location, 2 of which lay just on the outskirts of Orange. Vanderby want a rustic site with a large indoor facility to house the performances plus a camping area.

Australia's top "award winning" blues artists are booked to perform at the festival which if all goes well will go ahead on 2nd, 3rd and 4th March 2012!
