(Launch) - Although Shania Twain will not be in attendance at the June 30 opening of the Shania Twain Centre in her hometown of Timmons, Ontario, the singer has donated plenty to the new museum. Items donated include the pink choker, pink hat, coat and shorts Twain wore at the 1999 CMA Awards; her wedding gown and pearl earrings; early promotional photos; a 12-string guitar; brown leather moccasins from her first album cover; a tan suede skirt she wore as a child; and many other items and outfits. Twain even sent the museum many of her awards; including her Grammy, ACM award, BMI awards, World Music Awards and many others. Twain will not attend the grand opening ceremonies of the new museum because she is in Switzerland and expecting her first child.
