New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blkmarket Membership) Save the date friends, as on Friday 27th May as Blkmarket Membership celebrates its 5 year Anniversary in New York City. Residents DJ's Taimur and Fahad's idea and vision back in 2006 has made their night into probably one of the world's best DJ residencies for them. Their goal from the beginning had been set 'to bring in talent which inspires us as DJ's in the music we play.' Fast forward 5 years later and these two have played alongside with a lot of the best in the world at their nights, which they curate musically as well from start to finish. In celebration of their 5th Birthday, they have invited Sven Vath to share the decks with them. Sven Vath is a legend to say the least. Today, he runs one of the biggest labels in techno, Cocoon Records. He is also the owner of the state-of-the-art Cocoon club in Frankfurt and hosts the Cocoon Events at Amnesia in Ibiza every summer for many years. Many call him Pappa Sven. A career that started in 1982 and is still going strong! It is a very rare treat these days to catch him in this city as last time he played here was in 2007. We highly recommend to make sure you secure you spot for what is looking to be like the party of the year at Highline Ballroom. Blkmarket Membership will be providing special production led by Mehmet Erkaya! Lighting will be provided by

Blkmarket Membership + Cielo presents: Guy Gerber
On Thursday 2nd June, Blkmarket Membership & Cielo team up again to bring you a very special guest who's done pretty much everything you can imagine. From being the rock kid at the rave, to a DJ in the european club circuit, to the electronic producer with a fetish for live instruments, to being voted in the top 10 live acts on Resident Advisor in 2010, Guy Gerber keeps his audience locked in from the beginning through the emotional content of his art, be it on record or on stage. His productions caught the attention of some of Europe's most popular labels and got him signed to John Digweed's Bedrock label to Sven Vath's Cocoon imprint. During this period, Gerber was putting together the finishing touches to launch his Supplement Facts record label to showcase his posse of like minded artists. Today Supplement Facts stands out amongst the crowd. Gerber recently has been working on an album with hip hop icon P.Diddy, who hired him for some remixes and took him on more permanently after hearing the results. That's a pretty amazing accomplishment already in his career. For this New York date, Guy Gerber will be performing a very special live show for us. Sandwell District's distinct flavor of techno has caught the attention of the techno world by storm. Consisting mainly of members such as Function, Regis, Silent Servant, Female, including others whom contribute to the Sandwell District imprint and artist collective. Fresh from their highly successful Feed-Forward album, which garnered massive praise from the industry; Sandwell go well beyond hypnotic, driving techno and surfaces into mellower territory, which is why 13 Percent & Blkmarket Membership have chosen to showcase Function for an intimate afterparty experience on the night of Sunday 5th June. Taimur & Fahad from NYC's Blkmarket Membership fame will be warming up for Function's Canadian debut. In case that's not enough, we will also be announcing the addition of a very special guest as we get closer to the event. During this time we will also be annoucing the venue's location.
