The Summer Set To Release New Studio Album 'Everything's Fine' On July 19, 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Razor & Tie Media Relations) The Summer Set will release their highly anticipated new album, Everything's Fine (Razor & Tie) on July 19th. The 11 track album was recorded in Los Angeles with super-producer John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, Jonas Brothers, Switchfoot, Andrew W.K.). The first single, "Someone Like You," is now available on digital service providers - to purchase it now click here on iTunes https://bit.ly/TSSSLY

Everything's Fine veers into previously unchartered territory and greatly expands on The Summer Set's upbeat guitar pop sound, last heard on their 2009 debut album Love Like This. The energetic group that roused up audiences on the Vans Warped Tour last year showcases their signature pop muscles and will surprise listeners on some songs with a stripped down sound. Everything's Fine tells the story of about a band that started as teenagers but has since grown into adulthood - and faced some uncertainty along the way. It also distinctly sets the mood for what follows, a loosely-based diary of a relationship from beginning to end. Even the band's new logo and single art sad face is a hint that there are several new sides to the group (PERSONALIZE AND SHARE TSS NEW LOGO HERE).

The title is a bit sarcastic," admits guitarist John Gomez. "Our first record was just one emotion. Everything's Fine is yin and yang. We've had some ups and downs recently, some breakups, some general trials and tribulations. This is a record that says we're young, but growing up and experiencing new things. So in a way, it's optimistic, too."

Everything's Fine is also available for preorder on thesummersetband.com in a variety of tiered bundles specially created by the band. An additional preorder bundle will be available on the Glamour Kills website (www.glamourkills.com) on Tuesday, May 24th.

The band spent this past Spring on a national tour with All Time Low and Yellowcard (A fan generated video for "Someone Like You" from the tour is available for viewing here https://youtu.be/64nl8ELAhOY). The Summer Set will the hit the road again both overseas in the UK and Japan, and in the States this summer as direct support to We The Kings on the Friday Is Forever Tour getting underway on July 10th in Eureka, Missouri - dates below.

Most recently, The Summer Set's infectious brand of delightfully crafted pop songs have been seen and heard on both MTV's Jersey Shore and The Hard Times of RJ Berger and most notably, ABC's Dancing with the Stars - where singer Brian Dales' ex-girlfriend (actress Chelsea Kane) danced to the band's first hit, aptly named, "Chelsea."

The Arizona based The Summer Set is Brian Dales (vocals), John Gomez (guitar), Stephen Gomez (bass), Josh Montgomery (guitar) and Jess Bowen (drums). Formed as teenagers, the band released their first full length album, Love Like This (Razor & Tie) in 2009. The Summer Set has quickly become a phenomenon throughout the independent music scene, being named one of the 100 Artists To Watch by Alternative Press in 2010 with vocalist Dales featured on the cover, and what appeared to be a never-ending two years of successful tours with high profile artists including All Time Low, Never Shout Never, and Cartel, as well as being part of the AP Tour, Vans Warped Tour, Bamboozle and Hoodwink Festival.
