'Exhilarating To Behold' (Paste) Thomas Dybdahl Steps Into US Spotlight With Coast To Coast Summer Tour Dates Including NYC, LA

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Thomas Dybdahl, a riveting live performer and one of Norway's "most talented singer-songwriters" (Q Magazine), launches his first ever U.S. headlining tour with a July 13 show at NYC's Mercury Lounge.

German site Templores described the transportative qualities of a recent European performance by Dybdahl and his band, saying that the show "[takes] your mind off all the troubles and seriousness of the world and [lets] it float freely."

The tour follows the release of Dybdahl's U.S. full-length debut 'Songs', out July 12 on Strange Cargo/Decca Records. It's an intimate album of lush, intricately orchestrated pop inspired by Colin Blunstone, Tim Buckley, and Serge Gainsbourg.

As the New York Times describes Dybdahl's music, "Each song has the delicate suspense of a drawn breath."
