Lil Wayne Releases 'How To Love,' Second Single From Tha Carter IV
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ K&K Public Relations) Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist Lil Wayne has released "How To Love," the second single from his hotly anticipated upcoming 10th studio album, THA CARTER IV, to be released by Cash Money/Universal Motown on August 29, 2011.

Now available at iTunes, "How to Love" is the No. 1 most-added song at crossover radio, where it garnered more than 350 spins during Memorial Day weekend. As it awaits an official add date at crossover radio, "How to Love" will be added to urban radio on June 6 and June 7. "How to Love" follows the release of "6 Foot 7 Foot," the first single from THA CARTER IV, featuring Corey Gunz, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 2 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart as well as its Rap Songs chart.

Co-produced by Detail (Sean Kingston, The Game) and Tha Drummahz (Wiz Khalifa, Travie McCoy), and featuring Lil Wayne on acoustic guitar, "How to Love" is an unexpected departure from the New Orleans rapper's signature high-octane party anthems such as "Lollipop," "6 Foot 7 Foot," and "John." The shockingly romantic new single is an insightful and melodic hip-hop ballad that finds Lil Wayne exposing a rare glimpse of his softer side as he sings, "See, you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart / Never really had luck, couldn't never figure out / How to love." In an interview with Sway Calloway from MTV News, Lil Wayne said "How to Love" gives him "goose bumps" and that he has "never had a single like it."

Leading up to the release of THA CARTER IV on August 29, Lil Wayne's upcoming episode of MTV Unplugged will premiere on June 12 and the second leg of his headlining I Am Still Music Tour will kick off on July 13 in Hartford, CT. THA CARTER IV is the highly anticipated follow-up to Lil Wayne's ninth album, 2010's I Am Not A Human Being. Propelled by the No. 1 platinum hit single "Right Above It," featuring Drake, I Am Not A Human Being soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, in addition to topping Billboard's Digital Albums chart, Rap Albums chart, and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Lil Wayne recently capped off an outstanding decade that included selling more than 10 million records and earning eight Grammy nominations for his multi-platinum 2008 album, Tha Carter III, which shattered records by selling over one million copies in its first week of release. The New Orleans native who hails from the rough streets of Hollygrove is a veteran artist who released his first tracks at age 12 after he was introduced to Cash Money CEOs Ronald "Slim" Williams and Bryan "Birdman" Williams. He released the first installment of Tha Carter series in 2004, which added to his ever-expanding collection of platinum plaques, followed by Tha Carter II in 2006, which further solidified Lil Wayne's status as one of the best MCs in the hip hop game. But it was 2008's critically acclaimed Tha Carter III that gave Lil Wayne his iconic stature in popular music, paving the way for his advisory role to grow as CEO of Young Money Records.
