Panasonic Develops Its First 3D Home Theatre Projector
Wiesbaden, GERMANY (Top40 Charts/ AxiCom PR) Panasonic Europe, today announced the development of a 3D Full HD home theatre projector, successor model to its award winning predecessor, the PT-AE4000E.

In the PT-AE4000E, Panasonic used 2.35:1 extra wide aspect cinemascope viewing with its Lens Memory Feature. Now it expands the viewing experience to 3D, bringing a whole new level of large screen viewing experiences to the home. Panasonic has developed end-to-end 3D solutions from professional 3D camcorders for creating 3D content, to 3D authoring and encoding facilities (Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory) to 3D VIERA televisions and Blu-ray players.

The new 3D home theatre projector joins the wealth of 3D innovations from Panasonic and will include Panasonic high picture quality and 3D original features that has been used across the rest of its 3D product lines. The new device has been developed in collaboration with Panasonic AVC Networks' Emotive Technology Development Centre and Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory engineers, who have taken key roles in meeting industry standard for 3D.

At InfoComm 2011, Panasonic will be showcasing its new 3D home theatre projector, with plans to release it for sale in the US and Europe this year.
