NEW YORK (Blondie Fans Website) - The 80s supergroup Blondie continue to fill their calendar with summer concerts. The group hits the U.S. circuit in late month, and dates now stretch into late July.
Plans also include August performances at the Europe.

Blondie was one of the top talents of the late 1970s. Songwriters Debbie Harry, partner/guitarist Chris Stein, and keyboardist James Destri maintained a consistent niche in the late 1970s rock market. The band released a chain of hit singles during a period of time when the industry faced a recession.
Musically Debbie Harry honed the band all these years into the perfect pop machine. Blondie packaged the strong vocals and story telling aspect of the Girl Groups and combined them with the musical sharpness of Soul and R&B bands to become one of the era's most impressive bands.
