The shopping experience is tailored to DJs in every way, including the addition of track pages illustrating song key, beats per minute (BPM) and waveforms.
"DJs come to Beatport to find unique tracks that will make their sets unique, just like they used to scour neighborhood record stores," said Matthew Adell, CEO of Beatport. "The new Beatport experience confirms our commitment to furthering and preserving the art of DJing."
Engagement on Beatport.com reflects the growing popularity of Electronic Dance Music. Last quarter, Beatport.com had more than 5 million visitors which is a year over year increase of 31 percent. The following features make Beatport unique to other digital retailers, and were built with feedback from the Beatport community in mind:

- Track detail pages: All-new track detail pages display BPM, song key, and waveforms, in addition to providing cleaner options for sharing tracks on Facebook and Twitter.
- Key commands: Discover new music and navigate the site at lightning speed using keyboard shortcuts.
