'Megafaun' is a watershed in the group's history, their most ambitious, eclectic album to date. Recorded in Eau Claire, WI at April Base, the studio operated by their former bandmate Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, the album combines deeply rooted rock & roll with free jazz, Americana, electronic composition, musique concrete and more. The trio - comprised of brothers Phillip and Bradley Cook and Joe Westerlund - promises a similarly boundary-busting live experience as well.
