NEW YORK (Usher Fans Website) - Usher is back at No1 on the Billboard charts this week. This is the sixth week Usher's Confessions has been the highest-selling album, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Rappers D12 were knocked off the top spot on the Billboard charts this week when Usher's Confessions sold over 267,000 copies. This jump is most likely due to the rise of his second single from the album, "Burn," but it's nothing new for this smooth R&B star. He held the top spot for 6 of the past 7 weeks. D12 held strong at No2, selling more than 196,000 copies of their sophomore album D12 World. Following was Prince's Musicology, selling 150,000 copies, and Petey Pablo's Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry, with 117,000.
Jazz singer Diana Krall dropped back one to No5 with her album, The Girl in the Other Room (97,000), and Hoobastank's The Reason jumped up to No6. Finally, rounding out the top ten was Mario Winans' Hurt No More (90,000), Norah Jones' Feels Like Home (90,000), Josh Groban's Closer (78,000), and 'That's What I Call Music 15' (76,000).
