The Hoobastank sets 2004 summer tour dates

NEW YORK (Island Records Press Release) - Island Records' Hoobastank have the No1 Pop single in the USA this week with their hit song, "The Reason". The platinum album of the same name is currently No6 on the Billboard Top 200. "The Reason", which also reached No1 on the Modern Rock chart, was recently featured on the highly rated Friends retrospective episode which aired on May 6th.

Hoobastank just finished up a headlining stint on the MTV Campus Invasion tour which also featured IMA Robot and Lostprophets.

Hoobastank's next single, "Same Direction" will be released to radio in June. Fans can catch the band performing "The Reason" and "Same Direction" on The WB's Pepsi Smash on Thursday, May 27th.
They will also perform on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday, June 14th.

The band has just announced that they will do a west coast headlining tour kicking off in July. The tour will also feature Phantom Planet.
