Sean Royalty Releases "Black Nation" Mixtape Presented By Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hip hop artist Sean Royalty recently released his mixtape "Black Nation." Presented in association with Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions and Stay Cakin Records, and mixed by Power 105.1 FM's DJ Whutevva, the project is available at https://www.coast2coastmixtapes.com for free download. "Black Nation" features Sean Royalty on tracks with Vazasha, Telopath, Ron G, Cee Benjamin, and Fabby.

Carlton Sean Edwards, better known by his stage name Sean Royalty, was born in Jamaica, West Indies. Sean came to South Jamaica Queens at eight years old, where he kept in touch with his roots of reggae music while having difficulty understanding the American lifestyle. Sean found hip hop music as a way of learning the slang and different terminology of the streets.

Throughout the years growing up in America, Sean dreamt about being an artist who would use his background better than any other Jamaican rapper to bring a new sound to hip hop music. With his goals in hand, Sean attempted to open his own label called Thug Line Records in 1999, where he was known as Hydrow Hylander. He formed a group of his friends and family as members, known as the Shottas and released his first mixtape titled "Send In the Birds."

His dreams were cut short after his best friend was incarcerated and his partner in Thug Line Records passed away in 2005. He later joined a company called BQE Entertainment, where he released his second mixtape called "I'm Back Pre-Destined." Due to lack of promotion and lack of exposure from BQE Entertainment, Sean decided to start his second company, Stay Cakin Records in 2006. Sean's new label then signed six new artists that focused on hip hop, R&B, and reggae music. Sean and Stay Cakin Records have plans to continue his original dream as a hip hop artist with his newfound sound, using all the latest technology to channel his music for the modern age. DJ Whutevva is far from your average DJ. His ability to rock a crowd anywhere in the world continues to make him one of the youngest and most requested DJs across the globe. Whether it be radio, clubs, mixtapes, or on television, this kid shines like no other. He has been featured on MTV, VH1, and BET, as well as Vibe magazine and numerous other national magazines and newspapers.
