LOS ANGELES (Dream Theater Official Website) - The progressive rockers Dream Theater, who set the standard for live performances, continue to deliver sharp-edged music with Rhino Home Video's June 29 release of the mind-blowing Images And Words: Live In Tokyo / 5 Years In A Livetime.
The two-DVD set is loaded with more than three hours of footage (all never-before-released on DVD), including incredible concert sets, videos, album sessions, memorable behind-the-scenes interviews, and exclusive home-video clips.

Priced at $19.99, this Dream Theater release captures the band's intense stage presence. The first disc, Images And Words: Live In Tokyo, is a riveting live performance taken from the 1993 "Music In Progress" world tour. Disc two, 5 Years In A Livetime, chronicles five years in the life of Dream Theater, including shows in Rotterdam and London, the 1994/1995 "Waking Up The World" tour, and the 1997/1998 "Touring Into Infinity" world tour.

Along with fierce live performances, Images And Words: Live In Tokyo / 5 Years In A Livetime overflows with special never-before-seen features. Disc one contains the videos "Pull Me Under" (making its DVD debut), "Take The Time," and "Another Day," along with clips of the musicians in the studio during the making of the 1992 Images And Words album.
Disc two boasts three additional video clips, along with band interviews and footage that takes fans behind the scenes and through the creation of Awake (1994) and Falling Into Infinity (1997).
Both discs also include new audio commentary by Dream Theater!

Founded in 1985, Dream Theater are known worldwide for their progressive sound and high-intensity live stage performances. Even with label and personnel changes and a handful of solo projects, the band has continued to produce hits such as "Take The Time" and "Pull Me Under," and remains a well-known, respected, and innovative outfit.
