Two-time Latin Grammy Nominee Mexican Artist Ximena Sarinana Wins Over USA And Canada; Adding New Beats To Upcoming European Tour!
WASHINGTON, DC (Top40 Charts/ Qorvis Communications/ Imagen de Mexico) In an exclusive interview with MexicoToday, Mexican Grammy nominee and two-time Latin Grammy nominee singer-songwriter Ximena Sarinana announced she will be incorporating new sound beats to her European tour. Sarinana also shared how American and Canadian audiences have welcomed her first English album self-titled Ximena Sarinana which launched earlier this month. Watch MexicoToday's video feature of Sarinana's performance at Washington, DC's 9:30 Club, as well as an exclusive fan interview from the concert.

"The tour has been really great. Both Sia and Oh Land are really nice people and I like their music a lot so it's been fun to play with them," Sarinana said as she wrapped up her tour through the U.S. and Canada. As she prepares for her upcoming European tour on September 14-22, including London, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid, Sarinana gave a preview about how she will be adding new beats to her show, "I'm taking another musician and we're going to try to spice it up a little bit, doing drums instead of just the keyboard."

While performing in the United States, Sarinana has been widely embraced by audiences and has turned heads with recent performances, including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Lollapalooza Music Festival. She has also been featured in publications such as The New York Times and The Washington Post, and was named by VH1 as this month's "You Oughta Know" artist.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico to a filmmaker father and a screenwriter mother, Sarinana also shared in her interview advice to fellow young Mexican artists, "Be happy and be proud of who you are and where you come from. Work hard, that's the way you get things done."

Sarinana remains deeply connected to her roots back in Mexico. "I try to stay in touch with my Mexican audience; I tweet in Spanish still, and I try to keep them informed. As soon as I'm done in Europe I'm going to go back to Mexico to work." She went on to discuss what she missed the most about the Mexican culture, "You have to go see it for yourself. The amount of culture that is there in terms of the past; that hybrid of modern culture with what traditional culture has created is very unique and specialthere's nothing like it in the world," she concluded.
And this is just the beginning of how Sarinana continues conquering the world with her unique jazz-pop beats.
