CRS Raises Bar On The Learning Curve At Country Radio Seminar 2012
Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ AristoMedia) Country Radio Seminar has raised the bar on the learning curve at CRS 2012, emphasizing the importance of social media and market research in next years agenda of educational panels and presentations.

CRS 2012, held Feb. 22-24 in downtown Nashville, is offering an array of panels that are tailored to attendees based on their social media prowess. Social Media 101 is an entry-level panel covering the basics of sites like Facebook and Twitter, while Social Media 201 is a more advanced session, exploring revenue opportunities, analytics and how to grow your radio audience through social media.

Making its debut at CRS 2012 next year is the CRS Digital University, a series of eight roundtable discussions covering topics such as social media sites, website development, search engine optimization, smartphone applications, interactive radio, online marketing and digital revenue. CMTs Stephen Linn opens the Digital University with a strategy plan that all attendees can benefit from.

Additionally, Laura Fitton, co-author of Twitter for Dummies and CEO of the site OneForty.com, will share her expertise in the Social Media 101 panel and in the Digital University discussions. Recently acquired by HubSpot, Fittons company is responsible for the creation of social media management platform, SocialBase.

For 2012, CRS has scheduled multiple Country radio research studies as part of its agenda. These national studies will focus on the habits and opinions of the Country radio listener and consumer and provide attendees with the most in-depth research presented at CRS to date.

CRS Executive Director Bill Mayne declares, We are really upping the ante at CRS 2012 when it comes to our focus on technology, social media and research. Our current $399 Early Bird Rate is a steal, and with several events selling out last year, I would strongly encourage everyone to register now. Get to CRS in February so you dont get your butt kicked in the Spring Book!

Clear Channel Chairman of Media and Entertainment Platforms Bob Pittman officially kicks off CRS 2012 with his keynote address on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 9:30 a.m. CDT. Pittman will address the future of Country radio and the evolving digital landscape in the radio and record industries. Pittman has served as CEO at AOL Networks, Quantum Media, Time Warner Enterprises and MTV Networks, where he led the team that created MTV.

Limited time, $399 reis currently available for CRS 2012 at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com or by calling (615) 327-4487. For more information, an online version of the CRS 2012 agenda can be viewed at www.CountryRadioSeminar.com. CRS reserves the right to modify or change the agenda at any time.
