LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) Rapper T.I. just got out of prison and he's already plotting his next move - a reality show for VH1! T.I. was sentenced in October 2010 to 11 months in prison for violating his probation on federal weapons charges. He was arrested in Los Angeles on Sept. 1 of last year for possession of a controlled substance which violated his probation.
The self proclaimed 'King' has taken to Twitter to announce his release.
'Feels great to be back where I belong…Back in the arms of those who need me the most,' he tweeted from his verified @Tip account. 'The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!'
The famous rapper T.I. is reportedly already working on a reality television series for the VH1 cable network. The show will have a 10-episode run and will debut on the network on December 5, but the series itself still doesn't have a title.
'Viewers have always connected with T.I. and we are definitely thrilled to show the next chapter of this incredible artist's riveting life with this new series,' a statement by VH1 executive vice president of original programming and production, Jeff Olde, said in a statement Wednesday.
'T.I is such a multi-talented artist and actor, and though he has had some setbacks, there is no doubt he will use his considerable talents to get back on top of both the music and film business.'
