Me Talk Pretty Set To Embark On The Wake Up Tour This Fall 2011

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MGMT PR) Rock band Me Talk Pretty are gearing up for their first national headline tour this fall with special guests Madina Lake, Hell Or Highwater, New Years Day, and more to be announced.

Me Talk Pretty has created quite the buzz this year touring with Sick Puppies, Adelitas Way, Red, Framing Hanley, Neon Trees, Taproot and Alien Ant Farm. The band has played nearly 600 shows in the last 3 years including a couple stints on Warped Tour. The band is currently working on new songs and will be showcasing them on the upcoming trek.

Led by Uliana Preotu and Leon Lyazidi, Me Talk Pretty is a Rock band from New York, NY. Formed in 2006, the band released their label debut, entitled "We Are Strangers" in April of 2011 on Eight 0 Five / Fontana / Universal. They built up a loyal fan-base through relentless touring, in the US and Canada, including tours with some of the biggest bands in Rock including Sick Puppies, Adelitas Way, Framing Hanley and Red along with Neon Trees, Paper Tongues, Taproot and recently with Alien Ant Farm. They have also done multiple stints on The Warped Tour, SXSW and at CMJ. The band won an MTV VMA for Best Breakout artist in NY and MTVU's The Freshman for their video for "Wake Up!", 1st single off their debut record. "Wake Up!" is also featured in EA Sports NHL 2010, The Sims 3: World Adventures, and Rock Band. The band is currently repped by Dan Rozenblum at The Pantheon Agency.
