Her debut single, "That Town," off of her album, Possibilities, is a perfect example of this. "That Town" is about taking chances and striking out on one's own. Which is exactly what Carey is doing.

She has been a staple in the L.A. music scene for a number of years. Now she and her music are ready to span out. Her music is being heard on over 100 college and 60 adult contemporary radio stations and specialty programs in the country, as well as in the Netherlands, Canada, Japan and Australia.
"If I have a special theme in my music. It's about the light at the end of the tunnel the hope at the end of the chorus," explains Carey.

"That Town" can be heard on Country radio now. Carey currently performs all over California and has dates booked in Nashville, TN; Tuesday, June 8, Hobo Joe's at 9:00 PM and Wednesday, June 9, French Quarter Cafe at 7:30 PM.
