LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Lionize's seamless mix of heavy stoner rock grooves, funk and reggae caught on quickly with audiences and fellow musicians alike on the Vans Warped Tour this past summer and now fans can catch the Maryland-based act on a fall co-headline tour with their Warped Tour brothers, Larry And His Flask.
The trek kicks off this Thursday, September 22 in Pittsburgh, PA and winds down November 21 in Seattle, WA.
Lionize, former High Times Magazine 'Doobie Award' winners for Best Reggae/Soul Record in 2010, released their latest Hardline Entertainment LP Destruction Manual earlier this year to critical acclaim. The record, produced by J. Robbins of Jawbox, also features a guest appearance by Steel Pulse's David Hinds and Selwyn Brown and Tim Sult of the rock band Clutch.
