American Idol Semi-Finalist Julie Zorrilla To Perform At Clinica Tepeyac's 2011 Fiesta
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Clinica Tepeyac Official Website) American Idol semi-finalist Julie Zorrilla will perform at Clinica Tepeyac's 2011 Fiesta "A Celebration of Culture and Life!" on October 28. Clinica Tepeyac is one of Colorado's most respected safety net clinics and is a model for providing health education, prevention, and primary medical services to underserved patients in metro Denver.

The 2011 Fiesta fundraiser will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Police Protective Association (PPA) Event Center on Decatur St. in Denver near Sports Authority Field at Mile High. To celebrate the clinic's seventeenth anniversary, there will be a performance by Zorrilla, Flamenco dancing, live and silent auctions and a buffet dinner. Awards will be given at the dinner for Volunteer of the Year, Dr. Robert Williams, Community Partner of the Year, Health Center at Auraria and the Health Advocate of the Year, Dr. Chris Urbina (executive director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment).

Colombia-born Zorrilla grew up in Denver and has been a long-time patient of Clinica Tepeyac. "I've been going to Clinica Tepeyac since I was a little girl," says Zorrilla. "I am honored to perform at this year's Fiesta and support an organization that has helped me throughout the years and cares so deeply for Denver's Latino community."

Clinica Tepeyac works closely with other public health agencies and medical providers in the Denver metro area to ensure its patients have access to specialists and programs that assist low-income families. This year, Clinica Tepeyac is projected to provide more then 15,000 patient visits.

Fiesta tickets are available for $100 per person. People who can't attend but still wish to donate to Clinica Tepeyac can do so through the organization's web site at https://www.clinicatepeyac.org. For tickets or information contact Sally Reed at [email protected].
