NEW YORK (Sum41 Fans Website) - Sum 41 have been forced to leave the Democratic Republic of Congo where they were participating in a documentary for War Child Canada. All the members of Sum 41 are safe and unhurt, and are currently making their way back to Canada.
The band was evacuated to Uganda over the weekend by UN forces. They are expected to be back in Toronto late tonight.

Sum 41 were in the border town of Bukavu, which was the site of intense fighting over the weekend. About 13 people were reportedly killed in the area, including one UN peacekeeper.
