Dreadlox Holmes Releases His Brand New Single, The Female Empowering 'ssexy Rebel Role Model'.
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Havavision Records) As well as his collaboration with MZ May, the single features remixes from Lino Di Meglio & Corvino Traxx, Rachel Ellektra and Jean Drop, plus two additional lyrics from Brigitte Meuwsen "Modern Talking" which he just couldn't resist using. The single is co-produced and mixed by Dutch electro house producer Jean Paul van Druten, who remixed the Brigitte Meuwsen & Dreadlox Holmes duet 'Calling Out The DJ's/Play My F***in Song', and mastering is from Naweed @ Whitfield Mastering.

Songwriter, producer and performer Dreadlox Holmes is the guitarist of Scrap Iron Scientists, Project xXx and Siren Filter, and founder and CEO of Havavision Records who also toured with Roachford as a guitarist.

MZ May songwriter, lead singer and guitarist of the all black female rock band The Cherry Brakewells who co-wrote the song 'Without You' for Tina Turner's 2004 album 'Twenty Four Seven', also lent her vocals to the Artful Dodger vs Dreem Teem 2001 hit 'It Ain't Enough'. May met Steve Wellington aka Dreadlox Holmes in 2005, when she came to see his hip hop rock band Project xXx. The pair soon got together on a few recording sessions from which 'Ssexy Rebel Role Model' was born.

Graphic artist Fausto Sammali was brought in to design the artwork, an intricately hand drawn cover taken from stills of the single's forthcoming video. Directed by Cathy Hassan, the video captures Dreadlox Holmes and MZ May performing together, also MZ May debuts her acting skills portraying several strong, iconic black women - true 'Ssexy Rebel Role Models'.
