Best Coast DJ Set (Mexican Summer)
Best Coast was born when Los Angeles native Bethany Cosentino decided to return home after living in New York City. She quickly garnered praise from critics and listeners alike with the single Sun Was High (So Was I), and the Where the Boys Are cassette tape. After a series of additional singles
Best Coast released their debut album Crazy For You on Mexican Summer Records in July 2010. Two years of touring, including Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, plus appearances on Letterman and Fallon and an acclaimed video for Our Deal directed by Drew Barrymore (https://on.mtv.com/r4EdJl) cemented their reputation as one of 2011's most loved bands. Mos Def with reggae masters like King Tubby and Lee Scratch Perry, and his album Ghostfunk mixes rapper
