New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Trash A Go-Go) Trash A Go-Go - Shanghai's monthly tribute to vestiges and vintages of rock 'n' roll - is presenting The Fadeaways from Tokyo, Japan on October 22nd. The concert will take place at Yuyintang (851 Kaixuan Lu, by Yan'an Xi Lu) at 10 pm and will feature support from The Illunin8tors, The Macaronians, and DJ B.O. Tickets are 40 RMB for general admission, 30 RMB for students.
This month's Trash A Go-Go is sponsored by People's Bike (https://www.peoplesbike.com/) and
Music Dish China (https://china.musicdish.com/).
The Fadeaways are a kick-ass Tokyo garage punk band: pure, uncut Trash A Go-Go. They have played with The Pretty Things and 5678's! They are influenced by and sound similar to The Flamin' Groovies, The Kingsmen, Paul Revere & The Raiders, MC5, and The Stooges. Guitar slashing, bass thumping, vocal shredding good times.

The support bands this month include two new bands to the Shanghai scene.
The Illumin8tors are a troop of Shanghai music luminaries who are organizing a rock opera based on a Chinese folk tale of the sun and moon. Their music is a genre hopping mindbender, with funky costumes and linking narration. This will be their second ever performance.
The Macaronians will also be having their second ever performance at this show. Featuring Toshi, ex-The Beat Bandits, the band plays mod tunes with a fun, dancing beat.
DJ B.O is the resident DJ of Trash A Go-Go, playing rock and roll dance music for the people.
