NEW YORK (KOCH Records press release) - Goodie Mob Records has set a June 29th release date for "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show," a new studio album from the reunited Goodie Mob. The album, which is already being called "Triumphant!" by Rolling Out, is the long-awaited follow-up to the band's 1999 opus, "World Party."

The album's first single, "Play Your Flutes" (feat. Sleepy Brown & Kurupt), is already making significant in-roads at urban radio where it was 5th most added in its first week out.
A new clip for the song featuring Sleepy Brown (directed by Martin Linss, whose credits include Ying Yang Twins and B.G.), was immediately added to B.E.T (where it has already premiered) and FUSE's "Oven Fresh." The clip features cameos from Big Boi of OutKast, Ying Yang Twins, Youngbloodz, and The Dungeon Family's Big Rube.

The group (now comprised of Khujo Goodie, Big Gipp and T-Mo Goodie) has once again teamed up with the Organized Noize production team on the new effort. The album features further production by Bread & Water (Bone Crusher, David Banner), Mark Twayne (YoungBloodz) and DJ Speedy, with additional guest appearances by Bone Crusher along with Witchdoctor and Big Rube from The Dungeon Family.

"One Monkey Don't Stop No Show" is Goodie's first album of new material since the much talked about departure of Cee-Lo. As the band attests, "We wish Cee-Lo much success, but... one monkey don't stop no show. The Goodie Mob is a movement -- comprised of thousands of fans, in the streets. This is real thrill music; it's down south southern cookin'."

Considered by many (including The New York Times, which recently called the band "Dazzling and transfixing") to be one of the most influential hip-hop groups to ever come out of the South (along with close friends OutKast), the group is not only known for their pioneering production (again, due in part to their long-time association with Organized Noize), but also for their lyrical content steeped in serious themes -- an anomaly in the Dirrty South.

A complete track listing for "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show" is as follows:
1. Synopsis (feat. Big Rube)
2. God I Wanna Live (feat. Withdoctor)
3. 123 Goodie
4. Shawty Wanna Be A Gangsta
5. In Da Streets (feat. Jasper Cameron)

For a limited time, the explicit CD version of "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show" will be packaged with a 40-minute bonus DVD featuring the "The History of the Goodie Mob," a new band documentary featuring brand-new interviews with Big Gipp, Khujo Goodie and T-Mo Goodie, plus Big Boi from OutKast, Killer Mike, Organized Noize, Sleepy Brown and much more.
