LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Murray Chalmers PR) The Stone Roses set a new record today when all 220,000 tickets for their 3 UK shows at Manchester's Heaton Park sold out in just over an hour.
The first two shows announced this morning sold out in 14 minutes.
An overjoyed Ian Brown said today; 'We plan on spending the rest of the day jumping up and down with our hands in the air'.
The Stone Roses announced the gigs at a press conference earlier this week, where they also confirmed they would be recording a new album.
There are also rumours they are being lined up to play a number of music festivals, with the Daily Star reporting they will headline the V Festival next summer as well as Vince Power's revived Phoenix Festival.
