The Cymatics Is The New Music Project!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Magnus Sellergren Official Website) Check it out: The Cymatics is the new project from American ex-patriate Ross Kersten of The LaDonnas/Mochines (currently residing in South Africa), Magnus Sellergren from Sweden who has previous history in The Dialtones/Plastiques and Italian madman Allesandro Della Ratta from The Homebreakers/Golden Shower, showcasing their love for old-styled pop music; 60's pop, the Phil Spector Wall of Sound, 70's Power Pop, the sounds of the British Invasion, bubblegum music and the Glam stylings of T Rex.

Last year Kersten and Sellergren met up in south France, and after chatting Rock 'n' Roll, they found their interests to be quite similar! So there was only one thing to do and that was starting a band together. Sellergren then recruited Della Ratta and The Cymatics were born. Only one problem left; How does a South African, a Swede, and an Italian play in a band together? The answer was easy! Magnus records the demos on his own, Ross and Alex learns the songs on their own, and they get together for tours and recording! Well folks, here you have a new international sensation...the Cymatics!

There's a lot to be said about the mediocre rubbish that passes as Rock 'n' Roll today, but why waste your breath? Fortunately bands like the Cymatics still acknowledge and live by the true rock 'n' roll fundamentals!

The band will be touring western Europe and recording their debut album in February 2012.
