Eddie Money "Celebrates The Season" With Lou Gramm And Mickey Thomas For Jingle Bell Rock Tour
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Music City News Media & Marketing) Three of Rock 'n' Roll's greatest singer/songwriters of all-time will soon share the stage to perform their string of unforgettable, memory-making hits and holiday tunes as part of the 2011 Jingle Bell Rock tour. Featuring Eddie Money, Lou Gramm - the voice of Foreigner - and Mickey Thomas of Starship, Jingle Bell Rock kicks off the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 25, and runs through mid-December. The concert event promises to be a one-of-a-kind, "must-see" as Eddie, Lou and Mickey sing the classics they've become known for such as "Take Me Home Tonight," "Two Tickets To Paradise," "I Want To Know What Love Is," "Jukebox Hero," "We Built This City," "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now,"and many more.

The three superstars will share the same band and often appear together on stage, taking turns showcasing their musicianship as proficient instrumentalists and singing backup for one another. The idea was cemented via an in-the-moment appearance (and an impromptu test-run) where the trio wowed the audience at Hollywood's ultra-hip Sayers Club this summer as a sneak-peek to the upcoming tour.

A 17-date trek, Jingle Bell Rock will see the trio traverse the Midwest and East Coast before heading west for the tour's finale. Fans across the country will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience as the trinity of classic rockers also perform renditions of holiday classics as well as a few surprises. In an effort to spread joy to those less fortunate and share the spirit of the season, the artists have plans to give back to the community in the form of cash and food donations to local charities.

About Eddie Money:
Eddie Money is the definition of blue-collar Rock 'n' Roll. The iconic singer/songwriter, who was once an officer of the New York Police Department, had his first taste of success in the late '70s with singles such as "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets To Paradise." It was in the '80s that "The Money Man" came to forefront of popular culture. Money released the hit singles "Shakin'" and "Think I'm In Love" which were accompanied by some of the very first music videos on MTV. In 1986, he released the smash hit "Take Me Home Tonight," and from there, he followed with a string of Top 40 singles that cemented his place in Rock 'n' Roll history, including "I Wanna Go Back" and "Walk On Water." More recently, Money introduced his patriotic single entitled "One More Solider Coming Home" to pay tribute to our soldiers and demonstrate his support for our brother and sisters of service and their families. All proceeds from the single will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit organization whose mission is to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed for the United States. Money is a road warrior who plays nearly 100 dates per year. [www.eddiemoney.com]

About Lou Gramm:
Among the most distinctive and powerful voices to emerge from Rock and Top 40 radio, Lou Gramm - the lead vocalist and co-writer of the multi-platinum band Foreigner, as well as a successful solo artist in his own right - remains one of the most notable performers in music today. Gramm, the vocalist on 20 Top 40 singles, which continue to drive sales of nearly 80 million albums worldwide, exploded onto the international music scene with Foreigner on the chart topper "Feels Like The First Time" in 1977. The group continued its success scoring eight Top 5 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including "I Want To Know What Love Is," "Jukebox Hero," "Hot Blooded" and "Waiting For A Girl Like You." In 1988, Gramm departed from the band to pursue his solo career, forming his own band called Shadow King. He rejoined Foreigner in 1992. With his return, Foreigner reformed and continued for a nearly 10-year run before Gramm was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in 1996. After months of treatment and recovery, Gramm resumed work with Foreigner through the end of 2002. Gramm formed the Lou Gramm Band; the group tours steadily. [www.lou-gramm.com]

About Mickey Thomas:
The soaring voice that propelled the multi-platinum selling band Starship through the '80s and '90s, Mickey Thomas has established himself as one of Rock music's biggest stars. Thomas first made his mark on music in 1976 as the lead vocalist on the mega-hit "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" with The Elvin Bishop Group. In 1979, Thomas joined Jefferson Starship, after the departure of Grace Slick and Marty Balin, and the group immediately scored a No. 1 hit with "Jane." With a new sound and lead vocalist, the band was renamed Starship and launched an impressive string of hits including "We Built This City," "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," "No Way Out" and "Sara." Other top hits consist of "Find Your Way Back," "Stranger," "Laying It On The Line" and "It's Not Over Till It's Over." In 1991, Thomas reformed the group as Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas and has continued touring with the original Starship catalog, as well as songs from his tenure with The Elvin Bishop Group and his two solo albums.
