Adele Leads The Pack At American Music Awards, UMPG Songwriters Win 8 Awards Out Of A Possible 19 Categories
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Enterprises) Adele had the most award-wins at this year's American Music Awards with three awards, including Adult Contemporary Artist, Pop/Rock Female Artist, and Pop/Rock Album for 21. Nicki Minaj picked up the second-most awards, winning for both Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Rap/Hip-Hop Album for Pink Friday. UMPG songwriters and artists picked up 8 award wins, out of 19 possible categories. UMPG's Maroon 5 teamed with Christina Aguilera to deliver an energetic performance of "Moves Like Jagger" while Justin Bieber made a cameo in LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" to close the show.
