
LOS ANGELS (On Tracy Lane Official Website) - Actress Lacey Chabert from Paramount Picture's No 1 movie Mean Girls stars in the OTL (On Tracy Lane www.ontracylane.com ) music video "Back to Maybe". She plays OTL lead vocalist Darryn Yates' love interest. This is her first music video appearance, since the blockbuster movie was released on April 30th. "Back to Maybe" was shot and directed by The Film Emporium's Joe Eckardt at Fairfield Elementary School in Van Nuys earlier this month.
Darryn Yates, OTL lead vocalist comments on his LA rock group having an actress from a No1 movie in their video, "I am honored to have Lacey in the OTL video; not only is she beautiful, but she is such an amazing talent. Her eyes and expressions tell the whole story in this video. We had so much fun and I am thrilled that her movie is doing so well! We are looking forward to the video being broadcast in major national markets and on different college & cable networks across the country."
The song "Back to Maybe" is the advanced single of a full length album to be released independently in August. Over the past couple of weeks, OTL has seen quick increase of over 50 college radio stations across the country playing their music. Stations include KANM (Texas), KYMC (St. Louis, MO), WMUR ( Milwaukee, WI), WGDR( Plainfield, VT), UNDIE101 (Las Vegas, NV),and KGRG (Auburn, WA) with adds growing daily. The video will be released to various music stations this week.
Chabert grew up playing Claudia the youngest daughter of the Salinger Klan, in the 1990's TV Drama Party of Five. Now 21, she plays Gretchen Weiners part of the spoiled rich teen super-snobby group called the Plastics in the Paramount Picture movie release Mean Girls.
OTL band members are Darryn Yates (lead vocals, acoustic, and electric guitar), Carrie Sebree (backing vocals), Andy (bassist), Ammo (lead guitarist), Peter Lobo (drummer), and Joe Lorigo (rhythm guitarist).
OTL is scheduling a college tour for the summer.
