Springsteen's 'American Skin' video online

(Launch) - If you haven't seen the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Live In New York concert special in a while, a piece of it is now online. Springsteen has posted the 5:19-long clip for "American Skin (41 Shots)" on his Web site, BruceSpringsteen.net. The performance is taken from the HBO special that ran earlier this year, which was shot at Madison Square Garden in New York City on the final two dates of the group's 1999-2000 reunion tour. The clip can be seen using the free RealPlayer, but a note on the site warns that it will be available "for a limited time only." "American Skin (41 Shots)" was inspired by the shooting death of Amadou Diallo, the unarmed West African immigrant who was shot 41 times by New York City police officers during a confrontation in February 1999.
