NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mercury Records Nashville) - Newcomer Julie Roberts has hit the ground running with an unprecedented string of media appearances that stretched from New York to L.A. and everywhere in between. On May 28, the South Carolina native's career became the focus of a reality show on CMT entitled "In The Moment: Julie Roberts." On June 1 in New York City, Roberts performed three songs from her self-titled debut on "Good Morning America" and on June 3, she was a guest on CNN. On June 9 in Nashville, Roberts met Dolly Parton backstage at the taping of CMT's "100 Greatest Love Songs." Roberts says, "Meeting Dolly was a dream come true. We got our picture taken together and then she turned to me, held my face in her hands and said 'You are adorable.' I couldn't speak. Then before I took the stage for my performance there was a commercial break and the announcer said, 'When we come back, Julie Roberts and Dolly Parton.' I almost started crying." What Roberts won't tell you is that after her show-stopping performance of Patsy Cline's "Sweet Dreams" the audience gave her a standing ovation. Immediately following the CMT performance, Roberts hopped on a charter jet to Los Angeles where she performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." In addition to the onslaught of TV appearances, Roberts has also received rave reviews and features in the many publications. Look for Julie Roberts to be featured in the upcoming "Must Have" issues of In Style and Entertainment Weekly and the music issue of Maxim. Be sure to tune in to CMT's "100 Greatest Love Songs" to see Roberts' performance of Patsy Cline's "Sweet Dreams." The show re-airs on Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 pm ET/PT.
