Lucinda Williams will kick off a 27-city summer tour in San
Diego on July 7 in support of her latest Lost Highway release World Without Tears. Williams' brilliant live show will be stateside this summer and will include the five previously postponed dates from the spring tour in Charlotte, Nashville, Columbus, St. Louis and Kansas City.
World Without Tears, produced by Mark Howard, has sold over 350,000 copies to date. The album also received two Grammy nominations for Best Contemporary Folk Album and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the single "Righteously."
Heralded as one of the most important songwriters of her generation, Williams has garnered high critical praise for World Without Tears from top national publications such as Time, Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Spin, Blender, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, among others.
