NEW YORK (ww.tobylightman.com) - Drawing comparisons to diverse artists such as Sheryl Crow and Alicia Keys, Toby Lightman has landed the 2nd leg of the Gavin DeGraw tour. The pair, who has toured together since the end of May, will continue to captivate audiences all over the U.S., including a long overdue string of West Coast dates.

The petite yet powerful vocalist is gearing up for the launch of her 2nd single Real Love, (a cover of the Mary J. Blige classic) which will impact radio on June 28th. Lightman's rendition of the Blige tune is not only a bold statement but also a vehicle to show off her incredible pipes and soulful delivery.

Lightman's critically acclaimed debut entitled "Little Things" was released on March 30th. Since release, Toby's appeared several times on national TV, including performances on the Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Last Call with Carson Daly and the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Lightman's debut suggests bigger things to come," while the Boston Globe reports, "Lightman's confidence is a thing of beauty, as is her songwriting skill."

Toby is firmly establishing herself as a true live act. She's previously toured with credible artists such as Howie Day, Josh Kelly and Edwin McCain.
