Cypress Hill To Release Dubstep EP With Rusko "Cypress x Rusko" ‎In April 2012

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Cypress Hill Official Website) Hip hop group Cypress Hill is set to release a five song dubstep EP, called Cypress x Rusko in April 2012.

The west coast hip hop/rap group is working with dubstep DJ Rusko. This will be a follow-up to their album Rise Up from April of 2010.

Hip hop rap artist B-Real, aka Louis Freese said: "This is one of those styles that we felt doing with Rusko would be a great match. We've always been the type of group to take chances on doing something radically different than what people expect from us. So this carries with the tradition of us going out of the box. If it's not something that we embrace then we don't dare mess with it and this is something we fell right into the pocket of."

DJ Rusko, aka Christopher Mercer; previously produced remixes for The Prodigy, The Temper Trap and Little Boots. In March of 2010, Rusko released his first album "O.M.G.!" on mad decent. As of December 5th 2011, Rusko's second album entitled "songs" was submitted for a mid-march 2012 release. "Songs" will be released on 23rd March 2012
