LOS ANGELES, CA (West Coast Choppers Website) - The
Mania is back! After taking cable TV by storm with his two hit Discovery Channel shows "Motorcycle
Mania 1 & 2,"
Jesse James is back for another adventure.
As the CEO and chief designer for West Coast Choppers, custom bike builder to the stars and host of Discovery Channel's "Monster Garage," Jesse James continues his meteoric rise with another installment of the hit documentary series, "Motorcycle Mania." After two years in the making, part 3 is finally here.
From hand building bikes for the likes of Shaquille O'Neal, Tyson Beckford and other celebrities, to hosting the Discovery Channel's wildly popular "Monster Garage"series, Jesse James has quickly emerged as a cultural icon, and solidified his reputation as the greatest bike builder in the world.
Fans can't get enough of his shows as evidenced by both "Motorcycle Mania 1 and 2" each selling over 200,000 copies in addition to numerous airings on the Discovery Channel. Jesse's website www.westcoastchoppers.com receives over 2 million unique monthly hits per month and his bike parts and clothing line continue to post huge numbers.
Building bikes from the ground up is still Jesse's passion, but he can only work with the right tunes blasting out of his shop stereo. Hand-picked by Jesse himself, the soundtrack to "MM3" includes a host of raucous tracks, including Southern California-based cult band Fu Manchu, Danzig, Cypress Hill, Corrosion of Conformity and a previously unreleased live track from Kid Rock, "Long Haired Country Boy," which is a cover of a Charlie Daniels tune. Quotes and passages from the film are featured between songs on this rowdy collection.
As with its predecessors "Motorcycle Mania 1 and 2," the third film showcases the immense talents of Jesse James the designer and builder, but goes even further, diving into the tumultuous life of this enigmatic character. In "Mania 3," we ride alongside Jesse as he struggles to deal with his new found fame and tries to manage a difficult marriage to adult movie star Janine Lindemulder. To save his sanity and his soul, Jesse turns to his one solace: building the ultimate chopper, forged from a sheet of pure shining copper. From the streets of Long Beach to the deserts of Mexico, Jesse takes us on the wildest of rides, ending with the ultimate road trip across Northern Mexico with his good friend Kid Rock at his side. Like the unique song written for the film by Fu Manchu, the soundtrack for "Motorcycle Mania 3" will appeal to anyone who dreams of "Getting Away From it All."
"Motorcycle Mania 3" will air from June 20th on the Discovery Channel and the DVD and soundtrack will be released July 27.
