New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Coldwater Entertainment) The Mercury Feather project is a body of work comprising of 10 songs spanning from 2008 until today. "Its still and evolving process" says Cooke, who produced the track, without his musical collaborator Pittman in the studio, as he had to play half time at the Super Bowl with mega star Madonna.
Cooke's vocal sounds distinctive and Pittman takes you to places unexpected in this changing genera track. This song evokes images of London in the swinging 60's, imagine, The Rolling's Stones meeting AC/DC, but with a modern twist!
The listener of this song, is in for a few surprises, even tones of Fleetwood Mac creep into the choruses.
The single was recorded at Paramount Ameraycan studios with Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty) on drums and Ric Fierabraci (Chic Corea, Tom Jones) on bass. Additional guitar is added by Jeff Kollmann (Chad Smith). The track is produced by Steve Cooke and engineered by 2 times Grammy award winner Alfonso Rodenas.
" Bad Girl" is currently available in the US and worldwide soon for download in all-digital outlets. Look out for the 2nd single and album release later this year.
