LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) This Sunday 19th February, KORN release two digital remix bundles of their 'Narcissistic Cannibal' single. The original is taken from their genre-bending new album, 'The Path of Totality', which saw the Bakersfield band collaborate with the likes of dubstep superstar, Skrillex, Excision and Kill the Noise. The first bundle, featuring remixes by J. Rabbit, Dave Aude,
Adrian Lux and more, will be available via all digital retailers, while the second bundle is exclusive to Beatport.
"This record has come from a lot of fun and incredible collaborations - Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Flinch, 12th Planet, and so many others," said Korn's Jonathan Davis. In a career spanning over 20 years, KORN have sold over 30 million albums globally, won two Grammy Awards and sold-out countless tours around the world. This new direction is a gutsy move given their extraordinarily successful career so far, but shaking things up isn't something the band shy away from. Frontman Jonathan Davis affirms, "I want to trail-blaze. I want to change things. I want to do things we're not supposed to do. I want to create art that's different and not conform to what's going on. We didn't make a dubstep album. We made a Korn album."
'The Path of Totality' album is available in two configurations: as a standard 11 song CD and a special edition CD that includes bonus tracks as well as a DVD of 'The Encounter', a full-length video concert of Korn's once in a lifetime performance in the middle of a 900ft long crop circle in a Bakersfield wheatfield.
