International Superstar Flo Rida Signs Canadian Pop Sensation Tyler Medeiros To His IMG Label
Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Susan Blond Official Website) Multi-Platinum pop superstar Flo Rida announced today that he has signed 16-year-old Canadian pop artist Tyler Medeiros to his International Music Group (IMG) Record Label. After years of crafting worldwide hits, Flo Rida is focusing on developing artists and ushering in a wave of new stars to the music industry. Tyler Medeiros, Canada's youngest pop sensation, is one of several acts to be announced in the coming months and will serve as one of the flagship artists of the label, which aims to foster talent from various genres of music.

"Tyler Medeiros is a superstar, it's as simple as that," said IMG CEO Flo Rida. "His energy and commitment to producing quality music embodies everything we are doing at IMG and we look forward to quickly watching him become a household name."

Flo Rida, who has sold over 40 million singles worldwide and who's latest hit "Good Feeling" just hit #1 on the Billboard charts, along with the recently released "Wild Ones" ft. Sia already climbing to #1 in several countries including Australia and New Zealand, saw clips of Medeiros on YouTube and he and his manager immediately sought out the young singer. After meeting one another and seeing Tyler's drive and ambition, Flo decided to make him one of the marquee artists of his burgeoning IMG record label. Tyler, who has achieved tremendous success in his native Canada thanks to hits like "Say I Love You (Please Don't Go)" ft. Young Money's Lil Twist and "Girlfriend" ft. Danny Fernandes, is preparing to take the industry by storm as he readies a batch of new singles, which will include the upcoming track "Got It Bad." Like Flo Rida, Medeiros is managed by Strong Arm Management and his projects will be released through a joint venture with Canada's leading independent record label, CP Records & Management.

"The second you hear Tyler sing or see him perform you know you are witnessing something special," said Tony Sal, CEO of CP Records & Management. "The partnership with Flo Rida's IMG label and Lee "Freezy" Prince's Strong Arm Management is a monumental development for him and for CP Records. We can't wait to introduce this kid to the world."

To kick off the partnership, Tyler Medeiros will be joining Flo Rida and Pitbull's upcoming Canadian tour kicking off in Vancouver, BC on March 19, 2012.

"This is a perfect way to bring Tyler to another level," said Lee "Freezy" Prince, CEO of Strong Arm Management. "Once people see his command of the stage they will be clamoring for more music. Flo sets a tone at his shows and Tyler is ready for the challenge of keeping up."
