New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) The sentimental songwriting stylings of Stevie Nicks, Roberta Flack, and
Ryan Adams have paved the way for Liana Conway, a daydreaming 21-year-old creative prodigy whose sunny, melodic songs like "
Beautiful Day" channel the magic and imagination of childhood. The Nashville-based Conway, who has been compared to
Colbie Caillat and Carole King, will release her debut album 'Sunrise' in June.

Conway's passion for songwriting ignited at the age of three, when she discovered her father's Time-Life compilation tape from 1969, featuring soulful classics by artists including the
Jackson 5 and The Temptations. While learning to sing, Conway also developed interests in painting and writing, jotting her free-form poetry down in her notebook and eventually writing her own songs.
Conway wrote or co-wrote the majority of the songs on 'Sunrise,' which includes the Norah Jones-esque "I Could Have Love You," the gentle "August Rush," which painfully details a summer relationship changing with the seasons, and "Day Dreamin'," buoyed by an unshakeable hook and tasteful arrangement that brings to mind "
Gypsy"-era Fleetwood Mac.
Phoenix Stone, who has worked with artists ranging from Art Garfunkel to the Backstreet Boys, produced and co-wrote the album with Conway.
An authentic talent adept at guitar, piano, and violin, the Boston-born Conway will showcase her enthusiasm for songwriting and the arts on a tour of high schools beginning in April. Her song "I Could Have Loved You" will appear in the August 2012 comedy, 'For a Good Time, Call...,' starring Seth Rogen and Justin Long.
