NEW YORK (Jennifer Lopez Fans Website) - If you can't foot the $70,000 bill, then you're not gonna get the J-Lo. At least that's what New York City and its Mayor Michael Bloomberg discovered when Ms. Anthony (nee Lopez) was a no-show at the city's Olympic torch ceremony last Saturday. Sources say that Jennifer was flattered when the Mayor asked her to perform at the high profile event, where P. Diddy and Donald Trump carried the torch. However, J-Lo's extravagant list of demands, which added up to almost $70,000, could not be fulfilled. Reportedly the government could not justify using public funds on the diva, and their sponsors couldn't raise the money from private donations in enough time. J-Lo's high-priced requests included her usual $9,500-a-night Manhattan hotel suite, $6,000 for her make-up artist and $38,660 for a private jet. The stylish superstar eventually canceled, citing work commitments. However, a publicist for her film Monster In Law confirmed that J-Lo wasn't even required on set over the weekend.
