The R&B singer requested permission to leave Cook County, Illinois for his concert tour in order to promote his upcoming new release. Cook County judge Vincent Gaughan granted Kelly's request, which will allow him to tour in October and November of this year.
R. Kelly is facing child pornography charges in Chicago based on a videotape allegedly of him having sex with an underage girl. He has pleaded innocent.
