BROOKLYN, NY (www.mail2fly.com) - Bad Boy recording artist Babs, best known for appearing on MTV's Making the Band 2 and a former member of the now disbanded hip hop group Da Band, has signed a deal with Avia to create a line of shoes called Nyce Shoes.

On Guard Entertainment, who manage several artists including Babs, Death Row artist Dylan (formerly of Da Band), and Full Surface Records artist Yung Wun, negotiated the deal with Avia making Babs the first female rapper with her own line of shoes.

Babs will be appearing at Jimmy Jazz at 524 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn on Saturday June 26, 2004 from 12pm – 2pm at an in-store launch for Nyce Shoes. Joining her will be Dylan, Yung Wun, along with On Guard Entertainment's entire artist roster.
