New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Blackberry Smoke, Atlanta's five-piece band of "rock outlaws" (Creative Loafing), will air its rousing performance from the Georgia Theatre in Athens on Saturday, April 7th at 9:00 PM on Palladia, MTV Network's high-definition music channel. The performance, which features guest appearances by Zac Brown and Clay Cook of Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie, is also available now on DVD.

Among the select group of acts on Zac Brown's label Southern Ground Artists, Blackberry Smoke drew comparisons to the "sturdy southern rock riffs" (Paste) of Lynyrd Skynyrd with their sophomore release 'Little Piece of Dixie.' The quintet, which has shared the stage with the likes of Zac Brown Band, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Kid Rock is touring throughout 2012, including a run of dates with Eric Church, and will release a new album in August.
