New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Check out Bonnie Raitt's first music video in 14 years - her cover of Gerry Rafferty's "Right Down the Line," the first single from 'Slipstream' (Redwing Records) out tomorrow.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T_aMNbXVdA

The video, directed by Steve Lippman aka FLIP, was shot at San Francisco's abandoned Mission Theatre. Producer: Pamela Esterson; Co-producer: James Q. Chan; Director of Photography: Chris Freilich.

In the next ten days she'll appear on Ellen, Letterman, Colbert and GMA. 'Slipstream' is getting top level attention from critics too:

NY Times: Jon Pareles traveled to LA for this searching Arts & Leisure feature: https://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/01/arts/music/bonnie-raitt-has-new-album-slipstream-and-a-tour.html?ref=jonpareles

Entertainment Weekly: Ken Tucker writes (A-) "The singer's best album since 1975... Her slide-guitar playing throughout Slipstream is superb, and she slips her purring voice into every song like a letter going into an envelope addressed just to you."
NPR: Ann Powers says "Raitt's gift for expressing emotions on a real, human scale is what makes her so beloved. On 'Slipstream,' she takes on some of the hardest, and she doesn't fail us now."

Rolling Stone: Will Hermes says, in a 4 star review: "A loose and adventurous reminder of everything she does well... it's mood music with a razor edge, pain fronting as bliss, delivered by a vet who understands that the blues are often about just that.
